- Who do I actually want to serve?
- What do they care about?
- Where are they already paying attention?
Until you nail your audience, you’ll keep spinning your wheels. Stop trying to be Amazon. Be a sniper. Not a shotgun.
2. You’re Wasting Time on the Wrong Stuff
Most owners bleed out in the margins. Stuck doing tasks they shouldn’t be touching.
If you’re wasting hours on:
- Social media (and it’s not your jam)
- Bookkeeping (and you hate numbers)
- Admin work (because you “can’t afford help”)
You’re not saving money. You’re lighting it on fire.
🔁 Shift the question from:
“How much does it cost to outsource this?”
To:
“How much is it costing me not to?”
Your time is your most expensive asset. Start treating it that way.
3. You Don’t Understand Your Numbers
You don’t need an MBA. You just need basic math:
- Money in
- Money out
- Margin in between
That’s it. Know what you’re earning. Know what you’re burning. Know what’s left.

- Profit by product, service, or client
Don’t hide from your numbers. They’re not judging you. They’re trying to guide you.
4. You Blame Time Instead of Owning It
“I don’t have time” is a lie.
What you really mean is:
- “I don’t value that enough.”
- “I don’t know where my time is going.”
- “I’m reacting instead of running the show.”

- Track your time for 3 days
- Categorize every block as Revenue, Admin, or Waste
- Cut or delegate everything in column 3
Time management isn’t about getting more done. It’s about doing more of the right stuff.

- Talk to the right people
